The Boomsma museum is situated in the heart of Leeuwarden city centre. Visitors get the chance to travel back in time to the distillery of the Nineteen Thirties. During an interactive film, Jodocus Boomsma tells visitors all they need to know about the origin of Boomsma Beerenburger. Step by step he shows how this traditional bitters used to be made. Finally there is an opportunity to taste the Boomsma products in the tasting room. The tasting room can accommodate 50 people and it can be hired for special events. There is also a little shop in the museum where visitors can buy a souvenir.
