This Old Genever is aged for at least three years in former port barrels made of European oak. This results in its signature taste: velvety, rich and spicy.
At Boomsma, we are constantly experimenting. This genever has been aged in barrels of Krohn Port, a well-known supplier of ours. Based on frequent tastings during the ageing process, it appeared that it takes three years to achieve the perfect balance. The result? A sparkling amber Genever with the rich aroma of sultanas, tobacco leaf, a hint of grains and warm apple pie. Velvety smooth taste with, once again, sultanas and tobacco, complemented with notes of ripe plums and herbs.

You can even add a drop of spring water to allow the aromas to flourish.
